The Houston Rockets have been on a desperate search to find their head coach for next season, most recently interviewing former Cavaliers head coach, David Blatt. According to ESPN’s Calvin Watkins, the Rockets are now set to interview former Rockets’ player and TNT analyst, Kenny Smith.

The Rockets are apparently willing to consider all options, as Smith has never actually had any experience coaching in the NBA. However, he did spend six seasons playing point guard for the Rockets, helping them win two championships.

Houston has reportedly been interested in a number of potential candidates, so there’s no sure bet of who the will end up choosing. If they do decide to go with The Jet, the next big concern becomes who will replace him on TNT with Shaq, Chuck and Ernie.
