The Houston Rockets will be going with Ben McLemore in place of Danuel House Jr. in their starting lineup against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday, according to Rockets play-by-play announcer Craig Ackerman.

It's worth noting, the Rockets will also be experiencing other changes to their lineup when they take on the Timberwolves. Houston will be getting Eric Gordon back from injury. However, they will be without Clint Capela as a result of right heel soreness and Isaiah Hartenstein will start in his place.

House has been struggling over the past several games, scoring just 10 points in total and making just four of his 12 shots. Meanwhile, McLemore had a strong performance against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night, scoring 18 points in 32 minutes. Over the last three games, he is averaging 9.7 points per game while shooting 52.6 percent from the field.

House is in his second season with the Rockets. He has played in 31 games and made 29 starts this year, registering 10.5 points and 3.9 rebounds over 30.9 minutes per game while shooting 43 percent from the floor, 37.4 percent from three-point range and 72.9 percent from the free-throw line.

The 26-year-old, who played his collegiate basketball at Texas A&M, went undrafted but eventually saw his first NBA action with the Washington Wizards during the 2016-17 campaign, appearing in one contest. He then moved on to the Phoenix Suns the following season, where he participated in 23 games and averaged 6.6 points per game.

It wasn't until his first season with the Rockets last year that House broke out, emerging during the second half of the season and playing in 39 contests, recording 9.4 points and 3.6 boards across 25.1 minutes a night. His strong play last year earned him a new deal with Houston this past summer.

Meanwhile, McLemore has played in 37 games with the Rockets this season, logging 10 points per game while connecting on 41.3 percent of his shots and 36.2 percent of his triples. He has also played for the Sacramento Kings and Memphis Grizzlies.
