James Harden has been on a scoring tear all season. The MVP race is getting really close now between Harden and Milwaukee Bucks superstar swingman Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Against the Kings on Saturday, Harden scored 31 points in the first-half. The seven-time All-Star shot 13-of-31 from the field, 7-of-23 from beyond the arc and 17-of-18 from the free-throw line in 38 minutes.

With the win, the Rockets improved to 49-28 on the season and 29-10 at home.

Harden has single-handedly brought Houston up the Western Conference standings. The Rockets, at one point in the season, were in the 14th spot in the West. Now, they are in the fourth spot.

Harden is looking to lead the NBA in scoring again. He’s well on his way to accomplishing that. Coming into Saturday, Harden was averaging 36.2 points per game.

There’s a lot of people who don’t like the way Harden plays, but no one can deny his talent. Harden has established himself as one of the most unstoppable offensive weapons in NBA history.
