Rockets forward P.J. Tucker wants to spend the rest of his career as a Houston Rocket. Tucker has played a major role for the Rockets and their vaunted small ball lineups. Apparently, their trust between one another goes both ways.
As Fox Sports Director Mark Berman reported, P.J. Tucker won't mind staying in Texas for the long haul.

The Rockets have taken small ball to a whole new level. They've traded away long-time center Clint Capela in a gamble that brought back yet another wing shooter in Robert Covington.
Clearly, a big reason why they can do this has been from the versatile performance of P.J. Tucker. Standing at just 6-foot-5, Tucker definitely isn't tall enough to defend the post.
But what he lacks in height, he more than makes up for in girth. He weighs a stout 245 pounds and is not one to be pushed around so easily by even the heftiest opposing big men.
Most important of all for the Rockets is that he's a decent 3-point threat. Tucker is a career 36.2 percent shooter from the three-point line and even better from the corner three. He's played the last three seasons in Houston, never dipping below 37 percent shooting from deep.
Tucker is also dearly beloved by the Houston faithful because of his hard-nosed play and competitive fire. He can do the dirty work while higher impact players like James Harden and Russell Westbrook do their thing.
Tucker has made it clear that he wants to be in Houston. Given what he's mean to the Rockets, I'm sure they'll be glad to have him as well.
