The NBA has assessed a Flagrant 1 foul on Houston Rockets guard Russell Westbrook two days after he shoved Dallas Mavericks point-forward Luka Doncic.

The said showing happened in the third quarter of the Mavs' 137-123 win on Sunday.

Westbrook missed a layup on the one end then clearly shoved Doncic in the back as he raced up the floor.

Westbrook is well within his right to be upset given how poorly he has played as of late.

The former MVP is shooting below 35 percent from the floor and under 25 percent from beyond the arc in his last six games, according to NBA.com. After having just come off an eight-game winning streak, Houston has now lost three in a row following their loss to the Mavs.

Westbrook and James Harden looked to be in sync earlier in the month, but Westbrook is struggling to be a dependable scoring option, especially at the end of games when Harden faces consistent double-teams.

While the Rockets are searching for answers in the midst of their recent skid, Doncic and the Mavs are in a groove. Dallas has won five straight, and they sit at fourth in the Western Conference behind one of the most efficient offensive attacks in the NBA.

Meanwhile, Doncic has continued his run of sensational performances. He hung 41 points and 10 assists on the Rockets on Sunday and is averaging 34.8 points, 10.8 assists and 9.8 rebounds over the course of their winning streak.

Doncic is also shooting 42 percent from deep on 10.0 attempts in the last five games.
