Houston Rockets guard Victor Oladipo may be coming off a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to injury, but unsurprisingly, he hasn't lost one bit of his jumping prowess. Duncan Robinson of the Miami Heat had to learn this the hard way.

The Rockets were hosting the Heat on Thursday, and unfortunately for Robinson, he was on the wrong end of Oladipo's latest poster (h/t ClutchPoints on Twitter):

At one point it looked like Robinson was going to come up with a huge block on Victor Oladipo. However, as the Heat forward probably realized mid-air, this just wasn't going to be the case.

It is worth noting that Victor Oladipo fell awkwardly after the play and he needed a few seconds to get back on his feet. He was able to brace his fall well, though, and it could have been much worse for the two-time All-Star.

The Rockets and Victor Oladipo came into Thursday's bout against the Heat behind three consecutive defeats. Houston is in desperate need of a win as they continue to sit well outside the playoffs picture in the Western Conference with a 11-13 record.

After Thursday's home stand versus Miami, the Rockets go on a three-game East Coast road trip starting Saturday. Victor Oladipo will need to carry the freight if this team is going to rally and respond properly as this NBA season enters its middle third of games.

With Houston having played 24 games, the Rockets are exactly one-third of the way through their schedule. Remember this season is a 72-game schedule, 10 games down from the normal 82. The Rockets need to do a lot better in their next 24 games so that when they hit the 48-game mark in springtime, they will be able to be in a much better position in the Western Conference heading into their final 24 games of the season. Victor Oladipo has to be able to steadily lift this team.
