Legendary TNT analyst Marv Albert has been covering NBA games for decades. Being in the broadcast booth for that long must have made Albert see everything the game of basketball could offer, even more so from James Harden of the Houston Rockets.

Not really.

During Game 7 of the Western Conference finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Rockets, Albert was clearly fooled into thinking that Harden’s celebration following a dunk in transition was actually the bearded superstar’s gesturing that he had lost his contact lens or got his nose bloodied.

Of course, that was not the case, as Harden was only trying to highlight the fact that he went up in the air that the pressure made his nose bleed. Funny stuff from Harden.

If there’s any bleeding in the game, it’s got to be the hearts of Houston and its fans as the Warriors handed the Rockets a 101-92 loss to earn their fourth-straight trip to the NBA Finals. The Rockets’ offense stagnated in the second half while falling victims once again to Golden State’s signature second-half surge.

In his last game of the season, Harden scored 32 points but went just 12-for-29 from the field (2-for-13 from behind the arc) with six assists, six rebounds, four assists, and five turnovers in 43 minutes of action.
