Loyola Chicago has struck again.

The Ramblers led from start to finish and at often times by double digits and now, they have punched a ticket to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament. It was a dominant performance against an Illinois team that entered the tournament playing as well as any team in the country. A popular pick to win the whole thing, Illinois has gotten the boot out of the door in the big dance. And Sister Jean couldn't be more thrilled.

How about that entrance? If you're facing Loyola Chicago and you look up and see Sister Jean entering the building, good luck. Odds are you won't be leaving the arena with a smile on your face.

Led by Cameron Krutwig's 19 points and 12 rebounds, Loyola is all of a sudden a serious threat once again to pave its way and leave its mark on another NCAA Tournament. After making a run to the Final Four in 2018, and now coming off a win against one-seeded Illinois in the round of 32, anything is on the table for this Ramblers squad.

Illinois entered the game averaging 81.3 points per game on the season. Loyola Chicago held them to 58 today, their lowest of the entire season.

The Ramblers forced Illinois into 17 turnovers and the Illini shot just 28% from three-point range. They were out of sync from the opening tip, a cause of the Loyola defense.

First-team All-American Ayo Dosunmu had just 9 points and 2 assists, turning it over 6 times for Illinois. Kofi Cockburn led the way for the Illini with 21 points but it wasn't near enough as Loyola dictated the pace and tempo throughout.

Loyola Chicago is back in the Sweet 16 and this win puts everyone on notice.
