Philadelphia Sixers forward Amir Johnson extended an olive branch to former teammate Isaiah Thomas of the Denver Nuggets, offering a peculiar boost of sorts if they ever play together again.

The rewind machine brought back this video from the 2018 NCAA All-Star Game in San Juan, Philippines — where the Jayvee Marcelino helped his twin brother Jaycee dunk in the final minutes of the game.

The Marcelino brothers have been know to pull off more of these stunts during games, despite standing at a mere 5-foot-9, just like Thomas.

While this time around, it'll be a 6-foot-9 big man giving a man a foot shorter the wings to slam it home, the brother-like sentiment of helping a man take off for a dunk during a real game is as endearing as it gets.

Amir Johnson and Isaiah Thomas played together for two seasons with the Boston Celtics, but separated after Thomas was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers and Johnson acquired by the Sixers in the offseason.

It's doubtful the two would be able to pull this off in the NBA hardwood, but it doesn't hurt to dream — as it may just be Thomas' best highlight of his career if all the stars align.
