Philadelphia 76ers head coach Brett Brown says he feels likes he's coached three different teams this season because of the blockbuster trades the team has pulled off.

The Sixers acquired small forward Jimmy Butler from the Minnesota Timberwolves in November, and swingman Tobias Harris, center Boban Marjanovic, and stretch forward Mike Scott from the LA Clippers at the February trade deadline.

On opening night, the Sixers' starting lineup against the Boston Celtics was Ben Simmons, Markelle Fultz, Robert Covington, Dario Saric and Joel Embiid. After the two trades, the starting lineup in Philly is now Simmons, J.J. Redick, Butler, Harris and Embiid.

“I feel like this is the third team I’ve coached this season,” Brown said last week, reflecting on the two blockbuster trades that suddenly gave him a possible contender, via Jonathan Gold of the Washington Post.

Philly is 37-21 on the season, good for fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings. After the Harris trade, a lot of pundits believe the Sixers, and not the Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks or Toronto Raptors, are the team to beat in the East.

Brett Brown has a lot of egos to satisfy now, but so far he's done a great job with the team.
