James Harden may be currently struggling with the Philadelphia 76ers, but Kendrick Perkins doesn't like it that people are doubting his place in the NBA Top 75 list.

When asked if Harden should still be in the NBA Top 75 given his lack of playoff success and recent poor performances, Perkins came into the defense of the Sixers star and emphasized that it shouldn't be forgotten how he changed the game.

Harden's offensive efficiency and ability to draw fouls are at an elite level, which is why the NBA had to enforce new rules to prevent players like him from taking advantage of the foul rules. For Perkins, The Beard is only a tier behind the likes of Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade.

Kendrick Perkins' certainly makes a great point. While James Harden is struggling and just can't seem to vanquish his playoff woes, he is still one of the best players the NBA has ever seen.

With that said, as Kendrick Perkins highlighted, there shouldn't even be a doubt about his Top 75 credentials.

Hopefully, though, Harden will be able to get out of his current slump and help the Sixers cut the Miami Heat's 2-0 lead in their series. For Philly to get back in the contest, they will need more than just a big performance from Joel Embiid.
