Markelle Fultz may be sidelined due to an injury, but the No. 1 pick of the Philadelphia 76ers still got jokes.

After Washington University pulled an upset over the No. 2 ranked Kansas, Fultz, who attended Washington had a message for Kansas alumnus Embiid.

Although Fultz only spent one year at Washington, he still rides or dies with his alma mater, as evidenced by his tweet. Embiid also spent one year playing for the Kansas Jayhawks.

More importantly though, someone finally got Embiid back on Twitter. The 76ers center makes it a habitual occurrence for him to find something cheeky to say on his favorite social media platform, many times at the expense of other NBA players.

Recently, he attended a serious-looking vent hosted by Sports Illustrated, but still couldn't contain himself.

It was about time that Embiid got what was coming to him, and it's even better that it was done by one of his own teammates. But Fultz should keep an eye out, because Embiid is coming.

It's good that Fultz is finding a way to engage with this teammates outside of the basketball court. He recently returned to practice, too, which will help him reconnect with his teammates further.
