It is no secret that Philadelphia 76ers general manager Elton Brand has some big decisions to make this offseason. Forward Mike Scott is hoping he and Sixers head coach Brett Brown will still be in town when it is all said and done.

Scott is set to test the waters of free agency this offseason. According to Kyle Neubeck of the Philly Voice, he would like to re-sign under Brown in the 2019-20 NBA campaign.

Scott started the year stashed on the bench for the Los Angeles Clippers. Fortunately, he enjoyed a bit of a resurgence after being traded to Philadelphia during the season. He ultimately proved to be their most productive player off the bench down the final stretch of the year. There is no question that he is certainly deserving of an extension with the Sixers if they do not undergo too many changes this offseason.

Of course, recent reports suggest they very well could be. Rumors started to swirl about Brown's uncertain future in Philadelphia even before the result of Game 7 against the Toronto Raptors. Despite losing on one of the most miraculous shots in playoff history, the reports have started to pick up steam.

It will be interesting to see if Mike Scott or Brett Brown is back with the Sixers next year.
