Philadelphia 76ers star Jimmy Butler gave current Minnesota Timberwolves coach Ryan Saunders a big hug prior to Tuesday night's game between the two teams.

Naturally, there was plenty of attention on this particular matchup as Butler takes on his former team, and it figures to be quite a spectacle at Wells Fargo Center.

But before things got started, Butler decided to go over and offer a nice embrace to Saunders, who seemed to appreciate the gesture.

Obviously, there was a lot of controversy surrounding Butler's exit in Minnesota, and he's already showcasing his skills with his new team.

Butler is averaging 19.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists on the season, and there's no doubt that he has helped give Philly a nice boost since joining the franchise.

The Sixers sit at 28-16 on the season, while the T'Wolves are at 21-22 overall.

Butler would probably love to put together a huge performance in this game, as the Sixers will try to grab their second straight win after defeating the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

Meanwhile, the T'Wolves are trying to do the same after a 110-106 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans.

Next up for Butler and company is a showdown with the Indiana Pacers on Thursday, with Minnesota getting ready for a clash with the San Antonio Spurs on Friday.
