We said that we hope new Sonic the Hedgehog games are being developed. Thankfully, SEGA won't keep us waiting for a long time. The Sonic Central live stream, scheduled this Thursday, will be bringing news about upcoming projects.
In celebration of Sonic the Hedgehog‘s 30th-anniversary, a Sonic Central live stream will feature on their official Twitch and Youtube channels. The program will start at 9 AM PT/ 12 PM ET. The tweet says that there will be news for “upcoming projects, partnerships, and events.” This is looking to be a great year for Sonic, and we hope that the live stream will deliver on its promises.

Recent leaks have propped up detailing what the next Sonic the Hedgehog movie will be like. However, it's not going to come out within this year. Still, we hope more official details and maybe even some progress report can be made about the new movie. Meanwhile, they also mentioned something about partnerships. Are we finally going to get a Sonic Fortnite Outfit? Will we see the blue hedgehog in the new latest Super Mario Party? The possibilities are endless.
Finally, they mentioned something about events. While the world has started to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, we might then have some on-site events incoming. However, this is highly unlikely, so don't get your hopes up. Still, won't it be awesome to have some official conventions sometime soon, especially to celebrate the series' 30th-anniversary?
We can't wait anymore for this Thursday. Hopefully, the live stream can reveal news that will make every Sonic fan happy.
