The situation between Kawhi Leonard and the San Antonio Spurs appears to have hit critical mass.

Leonard was officially ruled out of playing for the rest of the playoffs before getting ousted by the Golden State Warriors in the first round. And although he was medically cleared by the Spurs medical staff, he and his camp decided he wasn't ready to play.

This craziness has brought about all sorts of rumors, including but not limited to Leonard wanting out of San Antonio. Recently, it was reported that he and the Los Angeles Lakers had mutual interest in joining forces, because of course they do.

But there's at least one company that is trying to keep Leonard in San Antonio. And boy do they have a generous offer.

Freetail Brewing Company has offered Leonard a lifetime supply of pizza and beer if he were to figure it out with the Spurs and fix their situation, per an ABC affiliate in San Antonio. The owner of the company even had a special message for Leonard.

“This past season was really awkward, especially when rumors started circulating in the media, ”said Scott Metzger, founder of Freetail Brewing. “It’s just been very un-Spurs-like to have this level of drama with the team, given their long history of professionalism and ability to avoid some of the things most other teams deal with regularly.”

At this point, any idea could be crazy enough to work. Not much is known about Leonard's diet preferences or whether he even likes pizza or beer.

Perhaps Leonard and coach Gregg Popovich can sit down together and has things out, much like Pop and LaMarcus Aldridge did when he demanded a trade. Unfortunately, this situation with Leonard seems to have hit a point of no return.

But it's the NBA. Anything can happen. And maybe pizza and beer for life can be that anything this time around.
