Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger might've enjoyed a long career in the NFL to this point, but he does hold one unfortunate record: the most sacked QB of all time.
Big Ben had a rather hilarious reaction to it. Via Dale Lolley:
Roethlisberger on his record for most sacked QB of all time. "(It means) that I've played a long time and that I held the ball too long."

After all, this is the 17th season of his career with the Steelers. He also used to be a quarterback who moved around a lot in the pocket and used his big frame to throw players off him. But, things change as you get older.
While this record seems like a grim one, he actually just passed Tom Brady this season. TB12 is at 537, while Roethlisberger has been sacked 546 times in his career and a total of 30 times in 2021. The likes of John Elway and Aaron Rodgers are within the top-five as well.
This will likely be Big Ben's last season with the Steelers and potentially, the end of his time in the NFL. That being said, there is still the chance that Brady takes over top spot if he continues to play longer.
Roethlisberger and the Steelers will be looking for a much-needed win in Week 15 as they face the Tennessee Titans. Pittsburgh currently sits at the bottom of the AFC North with a 6-6-1 record.
