With Le'Veon Bell still not reporting to the team, James Conner is still taking the majority of the snaps for the Pittsburgh Steelers and he hasn't disappointed. He had another big game on Sunday rushing for 107 yards to bring his total yards in the last four games up to 689 yards on 108 touches. There is no doubt that he has a big workload and he was asked by a reporter after the game if he was ready to continue this type of workload for the rest of the season.

“I'm built for this,” said Conner matter-of-factly via ESPN.

It's unclear when or if Bell will report to the team, but it's clear that players inside the locker room are sick of talking about it.

“Honestly, no one cares anymore,” guard David DeCastro said. “Why would I? I don't want to waste the energy. I have to block some of the best players on the best defense in the world. Do you think I'm going to worry about a guy who's not here? Like I've said before, I love Le'Veon. There's great memories with him. But it would do an injustice to this game worrying about someone else when I'm on the field. I'm just trying to give my best effort for the rest of the people on the field with me.”

Bell is still one of the best running backs in the league, but with the way Conner is performing he is becoming more and more expendable for the team. If Bell doesn't report to the team before November 13th he will forfeit this season and the Steelers will still have team control over him this offseason.
