The anticipation is building for the next installment of the rivalry between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens in Week 13, but for rookie running back Najee Harris, this is just another game in his debut season.

On paper, this upcoming clash against the Ravens is set to provide Harris with a pivotal test. He leads all rookie running backs this year in rushing yards with 708. However, the Ravens do rank at second in the league in rushing yards allowed per game with a potent 84.2 average.

The rivalry between the Steelers and Ravens is well known for just how physical and tense it can get, but for Harris, he views this upcoming game the same as he would for any other, which he opened up about during a press conference on Friday.

“I don’t know too much about it,” Harris said. “We are just trying to win games. I don’t really think about it. Me personally, I am just trying to win a game. I don’t really care about the rivalry too much; I am just trying to go in there and do what I can to help the team win.”

The Steelers currently hold the No. 11 seed in the AFC heading into Week 13. Still, Harris is not counting out his team from possibly making a late playoff push.

“For us, these next couple of games, I think that the playoffs kind of started for us in a way,” Harris said. “Just because there’s not much football left… All of them matter a lot.”

The Steelers will look to snap their three-game winless streak this week.
