Aaron Rodgers to the Pittsburgh Steelers might sound crazy but it's a real possibility.

All off-season, Rodgers had some issues with the Green Bay Packers' front office. He didn't show up to training camp on time and many believed he was going to retire. There was also a possibility that Rodgers was going to be traded.

The Steelers would be a good destination for Rodgers. They have one of the best defenses in the NFL. They also have an above-average receiving core. For most of Rodgers' career, he has dealt with average to below-average receiving cores. He has had some legendary receivers he's been able to throw to, but the receiving depth as a whole hasn't always been great.

Rodgers and the Packers this year are once again one of the best teams in football. The Steelers, on the other hand, are struggling for the first time in the past few years.

On Herd with Colin, Hall of Famer Jerome Bettis weighed in on the Aaron Rodgers to Steelers rumor.

“I can see it. Every team has a championship window. This defense is a championship defense,” Bettis said.

With the way Ben Roethlisberger is playing, it's clear that the Steelers are going to have to make a move soon. Whether that's developing a young quarterback or picking up someone like Rodgers remains to be see, though.

The 6-1 Packers are facing off against the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday. The 3-3 Steelers are heading to Cleveland to take on the Cleveland Browns in a divisional rivalry game.
