The Oklahoma City Thunder went through the first preseason action on Friday night with their newly formed big three all on the floor together.

It has put together an intriguing dynamic on the offensive end of the floor that now features three proven scorers in the mix. However, it appears that the reigning league MVP has made it quite clear what he wants from his new teammate Carmelo Anthony.

Russell Westbrook looks to be embracing the facilitator role more with both Anthony and Paul George as scoring options. It's also clear he understands that the 10-time All-Star is most effective as a scorer as he's proven throughout his career.

This is likely the case with George, who is also one of the more talented offensive players in the league. If Westbrook is willing to take more of this type of role, it could go a long way in helping ease both Anthony and George in the fold of the offense while potentially making them into a powerhouse team in the Western Conference that could challenge the Golden State Warriors.

There will be an adjustment period along the way with plenty of bumps in the process as the three learn to play off each other this upcoming season. That said, the fact that Westbrook has already made a strong effort to make his new teammates comfortable could be a telling sign of what is to come.
