The Oklahoma City Thunder will usher in a new era starting next season, and they are matching that with a fresh new set of jerseys.

The Thunder Twitter account unveiled the team's uniform kit for the 2019-20 season:

The Association (home) and Icon (away) jerseys appear to be similar to what they have worn since they started out as a franchise. But starting next season, the Association jersey will don “Oklahoma City” in front, while the “Icon” will be the one sporting “Thunder” on the chest. It was the reverse up until last season.

The Thunder's 2019-20 Statement version appears like a tweaked version of last year's Earned edition.

Finally, the Thunder will also unveil a new jersey honoring the 25th anniversary of bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building on April 19, 1995.

Perhaps this is a signal that the organization is embracing this new era in Thunder basketball.

It has been 11 years since the Thunder had their inaugural season in Oklahoma City. The die-hard Thunder fans 11 fairly successful seasons of multiple playoff appearances, a number of trips to the Western Conference Finals, and an NBA Finals appearance in 2012.

However, this era in Thunder basketball officially came to close after they dealt away franchise star Russell Westbrook last week to the Houston Rockets. The trade came as a result of them trading Paul George to the L.A. Clippers upon the two-way star's request.

Westbrook was the only remaining piece of the core that included Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Serge Ibaka that led OKC to the Finals in 2012. It's hard to believe that, after being dubbed as the team of the future in the earlier part of the decade, all three are no longer on the team.

Now, the Thunder is headed towards rebuild mode, with a bevy of draft picks in their pockets and a promising young guard in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
