The Thunder acquired Dennis Schröder from the Atlanta Hawks in the Carmelo Anthony trade over the summer. So the good news is that they have a capable backup at the point guard position.
Westbrook underwent knee surgery in the summer and missed the first two games of the season. Hopefully the ankle sprain won't keep the MVP guard out for too long. The NBA is a better place when Westbrook is healthy and playing.
