Free agent forward Paul George is still in limbo with regards to his future in the NBA – or at least that’s what he has led most people to believe – as he continues to weigh his options before declaring where he would suit up starting in the 2018-19 season after declining his last-year option with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

A superstar like George definitely is hearing plenty of opinions about where he should go, though, probably only a handful of them have words worth listening to for the All-Star swingman.

During the second episode of George’s ESPN docu-series, the two-way forward was seen getting a visit from veteran shooting guard and future Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade, who lent George some sage advice that could help the latter in making his decision.

While enjoying sips of wine, Wade gave his younger counterpart simple yet meaningful words of wisdom, implying that George will have to think where he would enjoy the most for him to be successful.

Paul George was traded to the Thunder last year by the Indiana Pacers in exchange for Domantas Sabonis and Victor Oladipo, giving Oklahoma City then a big shot in the arm. His first year with the Thunder, however, was a topsy-turvy one. The team struggled with consistency and had trouble gelling with each other. They reached the playoffs but were bounced out right in the first round by the Utah Jazz. It’s an experience that did not leave a good taste in George’s mouth, though, it does not seem there is some rancor between him and any of his teammates, mainly Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony.

The door is still open for George to return to Oklahoma City, but just like what Dwyane Wade said, he'll have to ask himself whether being a Thunder is that enjoying of an experience.
