Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook proved to be the worst shooter in the NBA when it comes to crunch time, shooting a ghastly 21.1 percent when leading by one possession, according to Casino.

Westbrook took the second-most shots in crunch time (19) when leading by at least a point, only two fewer than LeBron James, who finished his 21 attempts with a solid 47.6 percent.

It's no surprise to see Russell Westbrook at the bottom of this list, given his reckless and often ill-advised shot-taking during games.

Whether it is a rampant drive to the basket that winds up in a wild layup attempt or a heavily-contested pull-up from deep — Westbrook's shot often ends up a brick, a reason of frustration for a lot of fans.

Five of the last six in that list are guards, perhaps a testament that the perimeter game suffers when defense is intensified during the last few minutes of an NBA game.

Yet the likes of Kyrie Irving, Eric Bledsoe, and DeMar DeRozan have proven to be elite finishers, able to put the ball in the basket and secure their teams' win when the ball is in their hands.

The Thunder talent's maniacal competitiveness and reckless shot selection are perhaps his worst enemy, historically making him largely inefficient during crunch time. Does this change your opinion on Russell Westbrook?
