Oklahoma City Thunder guard Chris Paul is back at it again, controlling the referees' minds and telling them to hand out penalties to the opposing team.

In his latest antic, Paul asked for a technical foul on good friend and Portland Trail Blazers forward Carmelo Anthony for smacking his hands in frustration.

Just a few milliseconds after Anthony smacked his hands together, Paul quickly turned to the referee, asking for a technical foul.

This is the second straight game where Paul displayed his uncanny knowledge of the rules. In Friday's overtime win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, Paul asked for a delay of game violation against the Timberwolves as Jordan Bell checked in the game with his jersey untucked.

According to NBA rules, this warrants a delay of game violation — which, as it turned out — was the second of the Timberwolves in the game which translated into a technical foul. Paul's awareness of the rule certainly paid off, as the game went to overtime and the Thunder eventually won.

The two plays certainly prove that Paul is regarded as one of the smartest players in the game, not just because of his innate skill, but his knowledge of every single rule out there.
