Oklahoma City Thunder forward Paul George reacted to a playoff commercial he recently starred in for Universal Studios' upcoming movie “The Secret Life of Pets 2.”

In his Twitter post, George appeared to be alluding to the upcoming bloodbath that is the NBA playoffs and stressed the importance of attention to detail during the post-season.

The scene opened with George looking intently at a wall with pictures of color palettes and sweaters. He, then, ripped off one of the pictures, crumpled it, and swished it through his make-shift basketball trash bin.

The next scene, then, focuses on George knitting, right before the big reveal: he's actually knitting a sweater for his dog. The scene, then, concludes with George petting his dog.

“The Secret Life of Pets 2” hits theaters on June 7. The NBA Finals are happening at that time. Will the Thunder shock the Western Conference and secure a spot in June over the likes of Golden State, Denver or Houston? It's going to be a long and challenging road for Oklahoma City if ever they do make the Finals.

The Thunder, which finished with the sixth seed in the West, open their playoff campaign on the road versus Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday. Despite not having home court advantage, they are still favored to come out on top over the short-handed Blazers.

The NBA playoffs is a different beast compared to the regular season, as George acknowledged in his post. Coaches and players get to focus in on their strategy against their playoff matchup, and rightfully so, attention to every bit of detail is needed in order for a team to successfully execute their strategy.

Can Oklahoma City avenge last year's playoff disappointment with a strong, deep, postseason push this year? Their journey begins this Sunday.
