Houston Rockets forward Trevor Ariza isn't exactly Salah Mejri‘s biggest fan.
The 6-foot-8 small forward was infuriated at the Dallas Mavericks‘ center during Tuesday's contest after Mejri allegedly made a comment about Ariza's wife and children.
Ariza, along with several of his teammates waited to confront Mejri after the team's 123-106 win, but no confrontation took place according to ESPN's Tim MacMahon.
Mejri thoroughly denied saying anything about Ariza's family when questioned, according to MacMahon.
A total of eight technical fouls were assessed throughout the game. Ariza was the only player ejected after picking up his second technical after a verbal spat with Mejri in the third quarter.
Ariza wasn't the only one to bring attention to the Mavericks' antics — as star James Harden called out his opponents following the contest for their off-the-book tactics in the second half.
“I don't know what they were on tonight,” Harden told Jonathan Feigen of The Houston Chronicle. “That other team was trippin'. Just disrespectful.”

The Rockets' perimeter defender Patrick Beverley, who was sidelined with a thigh bruise; shared his views on the matter through Twitter.
What we experienced today as a team. Was the upmost disrespect. And total disrespect to Us and the GAME OF BASKETBALL…Still got the W tho

Rockets announcer, Matt Bullard, says he has confirmed what Mejri said about Ariza's wife and kids.
I just got confirmation that Mr. Mejri did, in fact, disgrace himself and his team with what he said about Ariza's family. https://t.co/dD9BA13p8q

It will be interesting to monitor this situation and see if the NBA intervenes in any way.
