It is very understandable that the Houston Rockets are still feeling the sting of their disappointing end to the season. Only a few days after they were eliminated at home by the San Antonio Spurs in Game 6 of their Western Conference semifinals series, Trevor Ariza is left to reflect on why they weren't able to advance to the next round.
The 13-year veteran shared what he feels now that their summer came earlier than expected. He talked about knowing there are only a few teams better than them and that he thinks they underachieved despite finishing third in the conference after the regular season, which is something not a lot of people expected from them.

With a longer summer break, Ariza and his team can plan ahead to next season and make the necessary adjustments needed to help them become more successful in the future.
If there's any good news for the Houston faithful, their starting shooting guard can use the disappointments he's feeling right now as motivation to play better and give his all night in and night out. Their eagerness to show their true worth is also a positive sign, as they will not settle for anything less than what they've reached this campaign.
