USC basketball star, and son of LeBron James, Bronny James is back on the court for the Trojans after a scary cardiac arrest incident in the offseason. It took awhile for James to recover, and he is easing his way back into things a little bit, but he is back and playing with USC. He has only been with the Trojans for a few games, and before James was D1 college basketball, he was a star player at Sierra Canyon High School.

Bronny James was a household name before he even got to college to play for USC basketball. A big reason for that was because of the fact that his dad is LeBron James, but he was also one of the best high school basketball players in the country. James was so good at Sierra Canyon that their championship run with James is going to be documented on season four of Top Class Hoops, according to a tweet from Uninterrupted.

The Sierra Canyon days were special for James, and his high level of play is what got him to his current spot at USC. Out of high school, James was the #28 player in the 2023 recruiting class on 247 Sports and he was the #7 player in the state of California. He was a big reason why the Trojans had such a good 2023 recruiting class and why there was so much hype around the program coming into this season.

USC hasn't gotten off to a great start so far this year, but the season is young, and Pac-12 play is only just beginning. James is surrounded by talent on this young team, and they should improve throughout the year, and who knows, maybe they will end up having a similar run to James' Sierra Canyon squad.
