Incoming USC basketball head coach Eric Musselman continues to build his roster and secured the services of two new recruits via transfers.

Musselman secured the talents of shooting guard and top high school recruit Isaiah Elohim into the Trojans' fold, according to On3. He also gained the commitment of forward Rashaun Agee via the transfer portal.

Elohim, who played high school ball for Sierra Canyon, previously committed with Musselman's Arkansas Razorbacks before asking his release from his letter of intent to join Musselman at USC.

“USC provides the ideal environment for me to achieve my goal of competing at the highest level and transitioning to a professional career,” Agee said in his announcement on X.

Agee played the last two seasons at Bowling Green State University and posted averages of 13.3 points, 9.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game, according to BG Falcon Media. He was subsequently named part of the 2023-24 Mid-Atlantic Conference All-Second Team.

The commitments of Elohim and Agee complements an intriguing roster inherited by Eric Musselman from former longtime head coach Andy Enfield.

In the 2023-24 season, USC basketball finished with a dismal 15-18 record and saw them fail to punch a ticket to the NCAA tournament. Head coach Andy Enfield left the team after 11 years and subsequently took up the reins at Southern Methodist.

Eric Musselman stepped in to take over the reins from Enfield, kickstarting a rebuild of the program starting with the two fresh recruits in Isaiah Elohim and Rashaun Agee. The Trojans earlier secured the commitment of UMass transferee Josh Cohen, who redirected from an earlier plan to move to Arkansas to join Musselman at USC. These moves are beginning to shape the Trojans in the form that Musselman envisions the team under his watch.

Prior to landing the job at USC, Musselman led the Arkansas Razorbacks to three Sweet 16 appearances in five seasons and amassed a 111-59 record. He had also served various coaching roles in both the professional and collegiate ranks, most notably for NBA squads Golden State Warriors from 2002-04 and the Sacramento Kings in 2006-07, as well as the Nevada Wolf Pack from 2015-19.

Musselman is inheriting a Trojans lineup that boast former five-star recruits in Isaiah Collier. Collier averaged 16.3 points, 4.3 assists, and 1.5 steals in 29.8 minutes on the floor under the guidance of Enfield last season, but it remains to be seen if he would decide to forego his final years of eligibility and declare for the NBA Draft.
