The Los Angeles Lakers are playing in their final exhibition game Friday night before the 2018-19 NBA regular season commences, but big man JaVale McGee made sure that the contest won’t end without him blowing people’s minds away.

Here is a clip of the veteran center channeling his inner Moritz Wagner by knocking down a corner 3-pointer that brought house down at SAP Center in San Jose.

That’s actually a well-executed play, though, it’s going to be hard for the Lakers and their fans to deny that they felt iffy watching McGee being the man finishing the play with a shot that he’s never been known to hit. In fact, McGee has appeared in 558 total games so far in his NBA career but has taken only 15 shots from deep, knocking down just one of those attempts. So, it’s probably just one of those nights that the basketball Gods decided to smile down on some random NBA player.

Even folks over at the Golden State Warriors’ bench had to smile at least at what they saw from one of their former members.

Well, it’s all fun and games until the regular season begins.

The Lakers will kick off their regular-season schedule next Thursday against the Portland Trail Blazers at Moda Center.
