Marcus Smart of the Boston Celtics was ejected late in the third quarter of their game against the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday night. Smart received his second technical foul on the night after he and Hawks swingman DeAndre' Bembry got into a heated exchange of words during a jump ball situation.

For Smart to charge at Bembery like that, it seemed like the former got really ticked off at something that the latter said.

At first, it appeared as though Marcus Smart was just going to walk it off and head towards the exits. But then the Celtics guard got loose and just made a bee-line towards DeAndre' Bembry. And boy, was he ever ready to throw some hands.

Fortunately, none was thrown and no physical altercation occurred between the two, or any other player from both squads.

Smart ended his night with four points, going 1-of-4 from the field, and added four assists and one steal in 17 minutes of action.

Nonetheless, the notorious defensive-minded guard may be looking at a heftier fine for the extra commotion that he caused in going at Bembry. There is also a possibility that he may get suspended for this one.

The combo guard is known to have a short circuit and a hot temper. Hence, none of these are surprising anymore. Smart is a bull, and he doesn't back down from anyone. It's safe to say this won't be last time he'll get involved in a scuffle this season.
