Poor Adam Thielen can't catch a break. After missing a large chunk of the regular season due to a nagging hamstring issue, the Minnesota Vikings wide receiver is apparently dealing with another health issue heading into his team's Divisional Round playoff matchup with the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday, as he was limited in Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury, according to Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com.

It's not clear when or how Thielen suffered the injury, but this is definitely something worth monitoring going into this weekend, especially with fellow wide out Stefon Diggs missing each of the last two practices due to an illness.

Thielen put forth a monster effort in the Vikings' Wild Card Round win over the New Orleans Saints this past Sunday, logging seven catches for 129 yards, including a 43-yard reception to set up the game-winning touchdown in overtime.

In the 10 games he played during the regular season, Thielen caught 30 passes for 418 yards and six touchdowns, by far his worst numbers since 2015.

The 29-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Minnesota State, went undrafted but eventually landed with Minnesota in 2014, where he tallied just eight catches for 137 yards and a score during his rookie campaign.

He followed that up by finishing with 12 grabs for 144 yards in 2015, and in 2016, Thielen broke out, snaring 69 balls for 967 yards and five touchdowns.

The Detroit Lakes, Mn. native then made back-to-back Pro Bowl appearances in 2017 and 2018, with his best season coming in the latter year when he hauled in 113 receptions for 1,373 yards and nine scores.
