San Francisco, CA – After missing the playoffs two seasons in a row, the Golden State Warriors are back on the NBA’s biggest stage. They closed their season with a 53-29 record and it gave them the third seed in the Western Conference. They are facing the Denver Nuggets in the first round, a team that beat them 3-1 in the regular season.
At full strength many picked the Warriors as the favorite to win it all but, veteran wing Andre Iguodala is looking at things from a realistic standpoint.
Andre Iguodala: “We can be a team that loses early or win it all.”

“We can be a team that loses early or win it all, which is kind of been something we've been struggling with all year,” Iguodala told ClutchPoints. “I think it comes down to the level of focus that we come with. We can get young sometimes with the way we throw the ball around.”

Igoudala won three championships with the Warriors, and he's the only member of the team to win Finals MVP. As the oldest player on the squad, there isn't anything he hasn't seen before. He also understands how hard it is to win a championship.

That's why the Warriors brought Iguodala back for a second stint with the organization. His leadership on and off the court will help guide the Warriors through the playoffs. He will never get too high on the team when things are going well, and never get too low when things are going bad. He's even killed and focused on one thing, and that's winning an NBA championship if that ends up a possibility this year.
