The Golden State Warriors have some huge decisions to make this offseason. The team has to decide what to do with its two lottery picks as the NBA Draft date looms. While there have been reports that they're looking to move the picks for a player in their prime, one name that many have linked to the Dubs should they make the selection has been Baylor Bears guard Davion Mitchell.

Mitchell reportedly looked impressive during his workout with the Warriors, based on a report from the San Francisco Chronicle's Connor Letourneau.

“I heard he looked good,” said one source, who spoke under the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk publicly. “I think he’s a better athlete than a lot of people give him credit for.”

The book on Mitchell is that he could be the best of both worlds for the Warriors. He's a relatively old rookie who will be 23 years old by the start of the next season and could be ready to contribute right away. He's been a sure-handed performer in college, as evidenced by his impressive display during March Madness. But of course, the NBA is a totally different ball game. The Warriors themselves aren't 100% sold on him just yet.

But according to league sources, Golden State’s front office is split on Mitchell. Some scouts and executives view him as a ready-made contributor with a chance to become a franchise cornerstone. Others figure Mitchell, who turns 23 on Sept. 5, doesn’t have enough upside to warrant a top-10 selection.

One thing's for sure. This won't be the last we'll hear about Davion Mitchell to the Warriors between now and draft night.
