Stephen Curry is the greatest shooter of all time. That's a known fact. Many current players would kill to have a fraction of the Golden State Warriors superstar's shooting skills.

Which is why it wasn't entirely surprising when Karl-Anthony Towns, the Minnesota Timberwolves star competing in the 3-Point Contest, turned to Curry for advice. A rolling camera spotted the two All-Star players huddling together, with Curry giving Towns tips when it comes to the shooting contest.

Via Sports Illustrated:

Curry already won the 3-Point Contest twice before, so he'd know a thing or two about how to compete here. Most notably, the Warriors star seems to point out that grabbing the second ball from the rack instead of the first ball is easier. If ever you find yourself competing in the NBA 3-Point Contest, that seems like some good advice to follow.

As for Towns, the Timberwolves star made a bold claim regarding his status as being the best 3-point shooting big man in the league. He'd eventually walk his talk, becoming the first center to win the 3-Point Contest with a fiery performance. Clearly, the Warriors star's advice helped him greatly.

Sunday, though, will be a different story for Towns and Curry. The two will find themselves on opposing sides during the annual All-Star Game. The Warriors star is suiting up for Team LeBron while the Wolves star will be on Team Durant. It's bound to be an exciting game between these two star-studded rosters.
