Much like the rest of the world, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was left angered and disgusted on Tuesday after the shocking events that led to the death of George Floyd.
The African-American civilian was a victim of blatant police brutality after a now-viral clip showed him pinned to the ground by a Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) officer.
Floyd, who is in his 40's, lost his life on the pavement after the policeman had his knee on the man's neck for several minutes.
Not one to bite his tongue concerning injustice and social issues, the multi-titled player and coach questioned the state of the country's system.

Minutes before his tragic death, George Floyd could be heard telling the officer, “I cannot breathe”. Instead of taking off the pressure on the man's neck, the official simply told Floyd to relax.
“My stomach hurts. My neck hurts. Please, please. I can't breathe,” Floyd cried out as he was visibly moaning and coughing. Shortly after, Floyd laid motionless on the asphalt and was pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, four responding MPD officers involved in Floyd's death have reportedly been terminated.
Apart from Kerr, other prominent NBA personalities have already spoken out about the incident, including Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James.
The league has long taken a stand against injustices perpetuated to the African-American community. In 2014, several NBA stars wore warm-up T-shirts with the text “I Can't Breathe”, in reference to another victim of police brutality, Eric Garner.
Floyd's death was eerily similar to Garner, who was also killed after being put in a chokehold by an arresting officer.
