Draymond Green was stopped in his tracks mid-interview to settle matters with Evan Turner after a 123-117 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night.

The Blazers sixth man came to collect a payment from the Golden State Warriors forward after his alma matter Ohio State took down Green's Michigan State 80-64 in early January.

Turner didn't care about Green's post-game media responsibilities, demanding his money right on the spot.

Turner: “You owe me $100, bruh.”

Green: “What fo… ah dude, I got you, right now. I owe you for football too, huh?”

Turner: “Double, probably triple by now.”

Green: “Wait, did we beat y'all in football?”

Turner: “No, and that 30-point blowout is a little extra too. (After he's cashed out) Thank you, my good man. Always a pleasure. Big 10 for life. Keep it classy.”

Green went back to answering the question as if nothing had happened, casually doling out a few hundreds like a charitable donation to a person in the street.

The Warriors hadn't faced the Blazers since Dec. 11 and Green likely wanted to get back the money he had virtually lost during a 48-3 beatdown during Nov. 11, but to no avail.

Green has been known to make sporting bets with quite a few people in the league and last night was his turn to pay up. A good man honors his bets, even if it means doing so in the middle of work, apparently.

Sounds like these two will continue doing business for years to come, so long as their pockets still run deep.
