Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban and Jackson State head coach Deion Sanders didn't see eye-to-eye on the NIL (name, image, and likeness) deals taking the college football world by storm. Back in May, Saban made comments accusing Sanders and the Tigers of “paying” for top recruit Travis Hunter, then bragging about it.

Sanders fired back, saying that the Alabama boss was trying to get more money out of his boosters by making the comments. Needless to say, things were pretty frosty between the two for a period of time. However, it appears that Saban and Sanders have put the beef behind them.

The Jackson State head coach and Alabama head coach appeared in a goofy AFLAC commercial, as noted by 247 Sports.

It begins with Sanders mentioning the “GOAT,” an obvious nod to Saban being college football's top coach, before the seven-time national champion brings up the AFLAC duck. Jokingly, Sanders asks Saban if he was referring to him as the duck.

It was a hilarious moment between Nick Saban and Deion Sanders, one that was shared in a brief clip posted to the Jackson State head coach's Instagram page. The jokes didn't feel forced either, giving the impression that things might be trending towards a better place for these two after their NIL showdown.

After the heat of the moment comments, Sanders did say that he has “the utmost respect” for Saban, noting that he believed the Crimson Tide head coach “had a bad moment” and got “caught up.”

The college football world is better off with two of their biggest stars, Nick Saban and Deion Sanders, seeing eye-to-eye.
