The Washington Wizards may currently be down 2-1 against the Boston Celtics in their Eastern Conference Semifinals matchup, but there's still some positive takeaways for them, including the start they had to Game 3.

After leading the C's by 14 after the first quarter of Game 1, and by 13 in at the same mark of Game 2, the D.C. team followed it up with a 22 point advantage on Thursday after 12 minutes of action. Their scoring in the first frames has been so high that they have made history by putting up the most points in the opening quarter through the first three games of a series in NBA playoff history.

The woes of the Wizards have not been on the offensive end, but on their inability to defend their opponents in the second half. They were outscored by 15 and 18 points in the first two games, respectively.

With the series now in Washington, the team is banking on their fans to will them to victory and make them play consistently throughout their games. After the 116-89 Game 3 drubbing, the Wizards will hope to tie the series at two apiece in Game 4 on Sunday.
