Washington Wizards All-Star Bradley Beal feels he is the second-best shooting guard in the NBA behind Houston Rockets star James Harden.

With Wizards point guard John Wall out, Beal has taken his game to another level and is proving he can be the No. 1 option on a team.

“I feel like behind James (Harden), I’m the best shooting guard in the league,” Beal told Fred Katz of The Athletic. “My numbers may show it, (but) we’re not winning. I think that hurts (an All-NBA case) in a lot of ways. But in terms of individual success, I feel like I’m right there.”

The Wizards are likely going to miss the playoffs this season, but you can't fault Bradley Beal, who has been playing like a superstar all year.

In 76 games in 2018-19, Beal is averaging 26.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.5 assists per contest. The two-time All-Star is shooting 47.6 percent from the field, 35.4 percent beyond the arc, and 81.1 percent from the free throw line.

Beal, 25, has 11 double-doubles and two triple-doubles on the season. The sharpshooter has scored at least 40 points five times.

James Harden has been on a scoring tear all season. The reigning MVP could very well win the MVP again this season. Beal knows that Harden is the best shooting guard in the NBA, but after Harden, he's not taking anyone else over him.
