Bradley Beal has been making headlines again of late and unsurprisingly, the three-time All-Star is being linked to a move away from the Washington Wizards. The trade rumors feel like they've become perpetual at this point. Right now, though, Beal is being linked to a possible move to the Miami Heat.

Despite the fact that Beal has time and again reiterated his desire to remain with the Wizards, the rumors just won't go away. At 28, Beal is at the peak of his career and there are more than a few folks out there who believe that he's wasting away his best years in Washington. Right now, it just doesn't seem like Bradley Beal is going to find success with this particular Wizards roster.

Beal himself recently opened up about what he feels the Wizards need in order to be competitive in the East. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard outlined a laundry list of requirements that he thinks this team must look into in the near future:

“I think we need bigger guards. We need more guys that can get in the paint for us, more ball-handlers, more guys that can really create and get two feet in the paint, but also who can knock down threes,” Beal said on Wizards Postgame Live (h/t Chase Hughes of NBC Sports Washington).

Doesn't that sound a bit like Spencer Dinwiddie? Either way, the former Wizards combo guard is now plying his trade with the Mavs after the Wizards decided to trade him prior to the February trade deadline.

It's not just about bigger play-making guards for Beal. He also feels that shooting is a key area that the Wizards must improve on:

“Finding shooters, we definitely need shooting. You see we were [6-for-29 from three] tonight. Our shooting has been horrendous all year. I think that's an area that we definitely need to key in on,” he said following the Wizards' 115-97 loss to the Houston Rockets on Monday.

Finally, Beal added that he thinks the Wizards should also go and get some wing players that can be effective on both ends of the floor:

“Just some dog wings, some 3-and-D guys who can get after it and accept those challenges come playoff time when we play the Jayson Tatums, all the elite primetime wings,” Beal said.

That's quite a comprehensive list Beal just presented there. Basically, he's saying that there are a lot of holes in this current Wizards roster and that the front office must act accordingly come the offseason.

To be fair to the Wizards, they did somewhat make a splash last month when they traded for Kristaps Prozingis. Injuries got in the way of the 7-foot-3 big man during his time in Dallas, but the Wizards are hoping that Porzingis will be able to recapture his All-Star form again in Washington.

Beal himself acknowledged that he can't do it by himself. He needs a second star playing alongside him if the Wizards hope to find success in the league next season:

“I'll be damned if anybody says they can win a championship by themselves or win any game by themselves as an All-Star,” Beal stated. “That will never happen and I don't think it's ever happened in the history of the league. So, I think having another guy, 100 percent that is a must-have, it's a must-need.”

Could Kristaps Porzingis fill this role for the Wizards? On paper, at least, KP seems like a great fit alongside Beal. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
