The Washington Wizards came up with an impressive 131-119 home win against the Houston Rockets, with Bradley Beal dropping 37 points to spoil the return of ex-partner John Wall.

Win streaks have been few and far between for the struggling DC-based squad this 2020-21 season, which explained Beal's rather bewildering disposition after the Wizards posted their first back-to-back home wins this season.

“I don't know. Maybe it's the vibes,” Bradley Beal said after the Wizards' victory, via Fred Katz of The Athletic. “It's just the energy… Once you see a few shots go in, the rejuvenation is there.”

The vibe in Washington, as Beal put it, definitely gets better every time the star guard's shot goes in. Against the Rockets, the Wizards shot 40.0 percent from deep–with Davis Bertans shooting lights out from the bench after nailing five of his six three-pointers. Beal added three more and finished 12-of-24 from all over field.

Washington also got some much-needed assistance from former MVP Russell Westbrook, who posted another triple-double against his former team with a 16-13-15 stat line. Wall, for his part, finished with 29 points and 11 assists to lead Houston.

The Wizards, who are just 4-9 at home, have struggled to find their identity this campaign after revamping their roster during the offseason. Slowly though, they're getting their grove back behind Beal, who continues to lead the young team with his monster season. Before exploding for 37 on Monday, Beal scored 35 on Sunday against the Boston Celtics and continues to lead the league in scoring with 32.9 points per game.

It's safe to say that Bradley Beal is definitely vibing in DC.
