Bradley Beal has every intent to finish his career in a Washington Wizards uniform, hoping to stay in the nation's capital as long as possible. The rangy 3-point sniper noted he's dedicated to playing out his contract and hopeful that the possibility of playing his entire career with the Wizards comes true:

“I'm different than a lot of people, I hate change,” Beal told Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes. “I hate being different. You know, I hate all of that… if I can, 100 percent, I'd die in that Wizards jersey. Until that day comes, I'm going to just duke it out day by day, play out my contract. If they want me, I'm staying. If they don't, it was great.”

Recently, the Wizards shooting guard has been part of trade rumors, as ownership reportedly put him and franchise point guard John Wall on the trade block in the midst of a disappointing start to the season.

Since, Washington has been through ups and downs, but still finds itself out of the playoff picture and unlikely to make a late stride for the eighth and final postseason spot. Still, Beal is hoping ownership chooses to keep him around:

“At the end of the day, I'm here,” he added. “I don't think I'm going nowhere and they've made it clear to me. And until that day that I'm moving in another jersey, I'm going to fight my tail off to get one (championship).”

The Wizards traded Otto Porter Jr. to the Chicago Bulls before the trade deadline and could make further moves in the offseason, but Beal has shown a deep commitment to the franchise and has taken his own game to new heights.
