Bradley Beal is going to go down as one of the best players in franchise history when it's all said and done. Since coming into the league back in 2012, the University of Florida product has done nothing but get buckets for the Wizards from all areas of the court.

The 26-year-old shooting guard signed a two-year, $72 million contract extension with the team before the season started, and he is now guaranteed $130 million over four seasons. Beal’s new deal with the Wizards contains a player option for the 2022-2023 season. The sharpshooter would be eligible to sign a five-year, $266 million contract with Washington in the summer of 2022 if he declines that player option.

Beal averaged 25.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists last season with the Wizards while shooting 47.5 percent from the floor, 35.1 percent from the 3-point line and 80.8 percent from the charity stripe. He’s the best player in Washington since All-Star point guard John Wall is likely going to miss the entire 2019-20 campaign recovering from his Achilles tear.

After defeating the Pistons, the Wizards are now 14-28 on the season. Washington fans are hoping both Beal and Wall spend the rest of their careers in D.C. Wall has been on record saying he wants another shot at winning the title with Beal.
