Washington Wizards guard Isaiah Thomas showed some love to a young fan who is still rocking his Boston Celtics gear.

A certain Jon Finkel posted a photo on Twitter of his son wearing IT's Celtics t-shirt. On the said post, the father of the young fan said that his son is wearing the shirt once a week and repeatedly asks if Thomas is back on the Beantown team.

Responding to the post, Thomas — who signed with the Wizards this summer — said that he will give the child free tickets and a jersey if they can go to DC.

Thomas was a fan favorite in Boston during his three-season stint with the Celtics franchise. He had the best years of his career in Boston, where he averaged a career-high 28.9 points and 5.9 assists during the 2016-17 NBA season. However, that campaign turned out to be his last year with the team.

The 30-year-old point guard was sent to the Cleveland Cavaliers as part of the blockbuster deal for Kyrie Irving. Midway through the 2017-18 NBA season, he was shipped to the Los Angeles Lakers.

The former All-Star failed to make significant impact in Cleveland and Los Angeles because of his hip injury. He then played 12 games with the Denver Nuggets last season, during which he posted just 8.1 points in 15.1 minutes per game.
