Washington Wizards point guard John Wall says if ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith has a problem with him, he should come talk to him like a man face to face instead of venting on Twitter.

Wall spoke to reporters on Monday for the first time since it was announced he was going to have surgery and the five-time All-Star didn't mince his words when it came to addressing Stephen A.:

Bone spurs in your foot can flare up at any moment, but Smith seems to be taking issue with the fact that Wall wasn't complaining about this injury when he went off for 40 points against the Lakers and 36 versus the Houston Rockets.

However, that's where Smith showed his lack of knowledge about the injury, as it can sometimes feel worse on other days. It's clear that Wall did his best to fight through the pain and be their for his team, but it got to the point where the pain was getting too much and he was making the ailment worse by playing on it.

Nonetheless, by having the surgery now, Wall will be 100 percent healthy next season. That's really all that matters.
