Russell Westbrook is notorious for putting up massive stat lines and he has carried that over to the Washington Wizards. After losing to the Toronto Raptors on Monday, though, Westbrook is in danger of becoming the first player to achieve a feat he wouldn't be too fond of as he racked up another triple-double in a loss.

During Monday's loss, Westbrook posted 23 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists, notching him his 19th triple-double of the season. While he has been able to stuff the box score, the Wizards are now 8-11 when he records a triple-double, giving him a chance to be the first player whose team earns a below-.500 record when having 10 or more triple-doubles.

Throughout the regular season thus far, Westbrook is averaging a triple-double for the fourth time in his career. Despite his passion for the game and his insane numbers, his style of play has been questioned by many over the years.

It would be assumed that since Westbrook gets a triple-double often that his team is performing well at the same time. But it's the inefficiency in which he shoots (shot 9-of-25 in Monday's loss) that can get his team into a hole in certain games.

When Westbrook refuses to settle for jump shots and he attacks the basket, he's one of the best players in the NBA. On the other hand, his shot selection and turnover issues can lead to losses despite his eye-popping numbers.

With the devastating loss to the Raptors on Monday, the Wizards have fallen to 17-32 on the season, losing seven out of their last 10 games. While Westbrook continues to produce gaudy statistics, he hopes it results in more wins in the future. But as of right now, Washington's playoff hopes are in big trouble thanks to this most recent slide.
