Washington Wizards forward Jeff Green connected on a nifty touch pass to Bobby Portis to complete the transition play against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

In the clip posted by the NBA, see how the Wolves' defense was rendered helpless by the Green touch pass. Karl-Anthony Towns tried to chase it down but was too late.

In the end, it was them who came out on top of the Timberwolves, 135-121. Portis led his team with 26 points and 12 rebounds. Not far behind was Bradley Beal who finished with 22 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds. Jabari Parker also had 22 points and six rebounds while Green added 13 points.

The Wolves, for their part, got contributions from Towns who had a game-high 28 points, 1o rebounds, and seven assists. Derrick Rose came off the bench with 18 points, while Taj Gibson and Andrew Wiggins dropped 14 points apiece.

Both teams are aiming for the eighth and final playoff spot in their respective conferences. But their performance will highly depend both on their performance in the next few games as well as the other teams vying for the eighth spot.

The Timberwolves will host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday while the Wizards will duel with the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.
